Police involved in Europe-wide raids

Police in Iceland yesterday took part in a Europe-wide series of raids against those suspected of creating or distributing child pornography.

The Europol operation was run by Italian police and culminated in 150 raids over 13 different European countries.

Europol describes Operation Icebreaker as: “The largest international police operation ever co-ordinated and supported by the organisation within this area of crime.”
