The man is suspected of committing sexual violations against more than one child, both boys and girls. As part of the investigation, the alleged perpetrator’s home was searched and computers confiscated, Morgunbladid reports.
Björgvin Björgvinsson, senior officer at the Capital Region Police’s sex crime department, said the investigation was launched after a victim came forward and filed charges against the man.
Björgvinsson wouldn’t make any other comments on the case for the time being as the investigation is in the early stages.
