The man who died in a ski-doo accident on Langjökull glacier, in the western highlands, last week suffered from a sudden acute illness, which probably caused him to lose control of the vehicle, according to a preliminary autopsy.

The man, a tourist from Taiwan, was on a tour of the glacier when the accident occurred. His wife, who was sitting behind him, suffered injuries which were not considered severe.
