Police confiscate buried narcotics

Morgunbladid reports that the police have confiscated three kilograms of amphetamines that were buried in the ground close to Reykjavík. The police refuse to disclose the exact location of the find but said that they acted on a tip.

The stash is valued at ISK 15 million. According to Morgunbladid, it is common practice among drug dealers to hide their goods in this way.
