Poem in an Envelope in National Museum of Iceland

The exhibition “SJÖUND” by author Gunnar Hersveinn and designer Sóley Stefánsdóttir opened at the National Museum of Iceland yesterday. The exhibition includes seven graphic pictures of poems and a poem in an envelope.

The purpose with the exhibition is to release the poem from the poetry book and give people the opportunity to mail poems to one another, as explained in a press release from the National Museum.

Gunnar Hersveinn works as a writer, teacher and journalist and recently published his fourth poetry book, also entitled SJÖUND. Sóley Stefánsdóttir is a designer working on graphic designs and research related to the visual media.

Their exhibition is open until April 19.
