A few candidates in the upcoming election for Reykjavík City Council visited the playschool Nóaborg on Monday and answered the students’ questions. The children asked whether an amusement park with bouncy castles could be established at Klambratún, outside the Kjarvalsstadir Art Museum.

Nóaborg is participating in a project on democracy where playschool students are taught how they can influence their environment. The children have put democracy into practice by voting on school meals, group work and outings, Morgunbladid reports.
According to Fréttabladid, the children also encouraged candidates to reduce speeding, change bus routes so that buses will stop closer to kindergartens and the Reykjavík Zoo and Family Park in Laugardalur.
