Platform for Icelandic artists

By Iceland Review

108 Prototype is a new monthly platform showcasing the work of artists of various mediums. The third platform will be held tomorrow night.

The emphasis of Prototype 108 is not only on the finished art work, but on the work in progress, emerging ideas and artistic experiments. According to a press release issued by Prototype 108, each show will be followed by a moderated discussion with the audience.

Six artists will present their work in progress on 108 Prototype III: Choreographers Ólöf Ingólfsdóttir, Sveinbjörg Thórhallsdóttir and Inga Maren Rúnarsdóttir, musician Lydía Grétarsdóttir, visual artist Soffía Gudrún Jóhannsdóttir and photographer Fairyboy Lumiersdóttir.

108 Prototype is organized by choreographer and dancer Steinunn Ketilsdóttir and visual artist Andreas Constantinou and will take place at Klassíski Listdansskólinn (The Classic Dance School) in Reykjavík at 7 pm on Sunday.
