The Pirate Party is by far Iceland’s largest political party, according to a new poll by MMR published today.
The party boasts 32 percent support, more than the two ruling coalition partners, the Progressive Party and the Independence Party. The Progressive Party has 10.8 percent support while the Independence Party has 21.9 percent. Support for the government is down 4.6 percent since the last poll one month ago.
The Social Democrats and the Left-Greens also have 10.7 and 10.8 percent support respectively while Bright Future has 8.3 percent.
