Pink Day Today

By Iceland Review

October is the month of the Pink Bow, an awareness and fundraising initiative by the Icelandic Cancer Society to fight women’s cancer. For that reason, the Society asks people all over the country to wear something pink today, October 16, to show their support for the cause.

Should you have wondered why so many people are dressed in pink today, you now know why. Don’t be alarmed if some buildings suddenly appear to be pink. It’s the lighting. You can cancel the appointment with the eye doctor. There’s nothing wrong with your eyesight.
