Pilots for Icelandair resumed negotiations for a new wage contract yesterday afternoon; should negotiators fail to reach an agreement by 2 pm today, an overtime ban will come into effect immediately.

On July 11, pilots for Icelandair rejected a recently negotiated wage contract with a 51 percent majority, Orri Ingvarsson, a member of the board of Icelandic Airline Pilots Association told mbl.is last week.
Gudjón Arngrímsson, Icelandair’s public relations officer, told ruv.is the overtime ban should not effect the airline’s flight schedule and no cancellations were foreseeable.
