Photos: Volcanic Ash Cover in South Iceland

The following pictures were taken by Robertas Mickevicius in Kirkjubaejarklaustur, south Iceland, yesterday. They show how the ash emitted by the Grímsvötn volcano covers the ground, lava fields and everything else, turning the usually beautiful surroundings into a gray and gloomy landscape with the ash whirling up at every footstep.
