The eruption in Eyjafjallajökull glacier has not been like the friendly tourist eruption. This time a glacier is turned into an ash spewing volcano, flooding rivers, disturbing air traffic all over Europe, sending out poisonous fumes. This eruption is deadly serious and people have to be evacuated from certain areas. Still, the magic of the combination of the awesome force of nature and the magnificent beauty are a very strong magnet for most of us. At noon today we put a special offer of a unique book made from the photos of our own world renowned Páll Stefánsson of the Fimmvörduháls eruption. Only 50 copies of the book will be made, all personalized. We expected the offer to last at least one week. At the time of writing more than half are already sold. This shows the interest in this play of nature and of course the superb photos.
