Visiting Iceland for the first time, photographer Andy Lee decided to try a new technique when taking pictures of the landscape, making it more dramatic through infrared photography. The results were published on dpreview.com.
“Iceland, it seems, is extremely photogenic. Photographers traveling the country routinely emerge with stunning photos of mountains, waterfalls and landscapes,” the website reads.
“Visiting for the first time, Andy Lee saw an opportunity to bring out even more of the drama in the country’s already dramatic landscapes. He used a DSLR converted for 720nm infrared photography, capturing the scenery in deep blues and blacks,” the website details.
