Paul Lewis will perform in Harpa at 8 pm on Tuesday November 26 as part of the concert hall’s ‘master pianist series.’
Lewis is considered one of the leading pianists of his generation and performs at various events around the world. He will be performing works by J.S. Bach, L.v. Beethoven, F. Liszt and M. Mussorgsky.
Lewis studied with Ryszard Bakst at Chet- hams School of Music and Joan Havill at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, before going on to study privately with Alfred Brendel. Along with his wife, the Norwegian cellist Bjørg Lewis, he is the artistic director of Midsummer Music, an annual chamber music festival held in Buckinghamshire, U.K.
