American actor Paul Dano, who played alongside Daniel Day-Lewis in Oscar-winning movie There Will Be Blood, will star in the new film by Icelandic director Dagur Kári Pétursson The Good Heart, which starts shooting in New York in April.
Pétursson is currently in New York to prepare for shooting and Dano, who attended the Oscars on Sunday, is expected to arrive soon to participate in rehearsals, Morgunbladid reports.
Pétursson is confident Dano’s success in There Will Be Blood will help in promoting The Good Heart. “He will also play in Spike Jonze’s new movie so I sense that he is becoming both hot and famous, which helps us of course.”
