Patti Smith will return to Iceland this summer for a concert at Harpa concert and conference center in Reykjavík on August 17.
The concert will be held in celebration of the 40th anniversary of her 1975 album Horses, which will be performed at the event in its entirety along with other songs, including new material.
Two of the original members, Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty, will accompany Smith on stage.
Smith has performed in Iceland in 2005, 2006, 2012 and 2014.
