When smoke was detected in the cabin, the pilots of the airplane decided to land in Keflavík. There was no fire inside the plane and it was hoped that repair wouldn’t take long, but then it took longer than expected, visir.is reports.
The airplane’s passengers and crew were transported to hotels in Reykjanesbaer municipality near the airport and to hotels in the capital region and it is hoped that they can continue their journey today.
