Australian comedian Caroline Reid, a.k.a. Pam Ann – a glitzy air hostess from the 1960’s, is set to hold two standups in Reykjavík, on January 31 and February 1. Her performances feature the vagaries of air travel, including the quirks of different airlines.
According to a press release, Pam Ann has developed a cult-like international fan base following the air hostess around for her “hilarious shows and riotous repartee.”
As an “A-list air hostess to the stars,” Pam Ann has supported Cher on her UK arena tour and crewed private jets for Sir Elton John, and Madonna has supposedly described her as being “cruelly funny.”
Pam Ann’s standups will take place in Tjarnarbíó theater. Tickets are available on midi.is.
