Palestinian Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Riyad al-Maliki will visit Iceland December 14-16, 2011 on the invitation of Icelandic Foreign Minister Össur Skarphéðinsson.

During his visit al-Maliki will meet with Össur and Prime Minister of Iceland Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, as well visiting Alþingi, the Icelandic parliament, and meet with members of the parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, a press release states.
Furthermore, the Palestinian foreign minister will meet Mayor of Reykjavík Jón Gnarr and on December 15, al-Maliki will give a lecture hosted by the Institute of International Affairs of the University of Iceland at the Nordic House at 2:45 pm.
