“It looks as if someone’s making blood sacrifices here at night, “ says Einar Pálmi Árnason, an inhabitant of Reykjavík yesterday. He has come across animal carcasses and internal organs in an open area near Réttarholtsskóli school in the past few weeks. Yesterday he found a whole dead sheep, and contacted police to have it removed.
“ I simply can’t understand what these people are thinking, “ says Árnason who is worried about disease and bacteria originating from these carcasses.
Last month an exterminator had to be called to the same garden to remove carcasses, and at the time it was believed someone was feeding the local ravens.
