Over One Hundred Cannabis Plants Found in Hafnarfjörður Apartment

Over one hundred cannabis plants were discovered in a residential building in the capital-area town of Hafnarfjörður on Thursday night when fire fighters were called to the scene to investigate a water leak in one of the units, RÚV reports.

In his statement to RÚV, Detective Superintendent Skúli Jónsson stated that 105 plants that were in the final stages of cultivation were confiscated at the scene. It’s thought that a ruptured watering hose for the plants is what caused the initial leak. The building’s landlord has been called in for questioning, but police have completed their investigation at the scene.
