According to visir.is, Octopus is 126-meters long, 50-60 meters longer than the longest trawlers in the Icelandic fishing fleet.

Octopus ranks as the world’s ninth largest cruiser which is neither owned by a state nor a head of state. There are two helicopters on board and two small submarines.

The cruiser is owned by Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft along with Bill Gates. It is not known what the passengers intend to explore when they get to Iceland.
