One in Five Icelanders Workaholic

Twenty-two percent of Icelanders are workaholic, according to a new study conducted by Capacent.

Sixty-five percent of Icelanders work more than 40 hours per week, and 18 percent more than 50 hours, visir.is reports.

The study also found that men have considerably longer working hours than women.

On average, Icelanders have the same weekly working hours as people in the rest of northern Europe.

According to the study, 20 percent of Icelanders don’t want to go to work in the morning.
