The band have played over 100 concerts since the start of 2013 and will perform a homecoming concert in Garðabær, just outside Reykjavík, on August 31. The band will be accompanied by fellow Icelandic acts Mugision, Moses Hightower and newcomers Hide Your Kids.

Iceland Review caught up with band members Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Brynjar Leifsson for an interview that will be published on later this week.

The band told Iceland Review that they plan to take a break after the end of August to enjoy time with friends and family in Iceland and begin writing their second album, due for release in late 2014 or early 2015.

The group’s debut album, My Head Is an Animal (2011), reached the No.1 position in Australia, Iceland, Ireland and the U.S. Rock and Alternative Charts, while peaking at No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart.
