The Scottish bird is 34 years old.

According to sources at the South Iceland Nature Center, Cape Stórhöfdi lighthouse keeper Óskar J. Sigurdsson has labeled a puffin that is at least 38 years old.

The British natural scientists have disregarded this information in identifying their bird as the oldest.
