A Norwegian tourist was attacked and robbed in Keflavík, southwest Iceland, on Sunday night. The tourist suffered injuries to his neck and his plane ticket, passport, cash cards, money and ID were stolen.

The victim sought assistance from the police, who helped him return to Norway yesterday morning, visir.is reports.
The Sudurnes Police are looking for the perpetrator. There were no witnesses to the attack but the police have questioned people who knew of the tourist’s travels earlier in the evening before the incident occurred.
