Photographer Ólafur Haraldsson caught the northern lights on video yesterday evening. He had been admiring the northern lights from Lake Hafravatn, on the outskirts of Reykjavík.

Guðjón Stefánsson, who was admiring and taking photographs of the northern lights from Lake Elliðavatn last night, by chance also captured a meteorite in one of the photographs. In description of the meteorite, Guðjón said it had first been bright white but then changed to green, mbl.is reports.
