No Suspects in Attack on Minister’s Home

The Capital Region Police don’t have any suspects in the attack of the home of Minister of the Interior Ögmundur Jónasson on Friday night. No one has been questioned in relation to the incident.

Shortly after 3 pm rocks were thrown at the minister’s house and two windows were smashed as a result. Neither Jónasson nor his wife were harmed, Morgunbladid reports.

Superintendent Sigurbjörn Vídir Eggertsson said the police don’t have any leads. “That’s the way it appears but we will do what we can.”
