No Recession on EVE Online

The latest edition of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game EVE Online, produced and operated by Icelandic company CCP, will premiere on March 10. The latest edition will be called Apocrypha, a name which originates in the Bible.

Several changes to the game will be introduced with Apocrypha, including a new type of spaceship. This new feature gives player the chance to design and construct their own spaceships according to their personal needs and wishes, Morgunbladid reports.

With the launch of Apocrypha, EVE will finally be available in stores again. Players have usually downloaded the game from CCP’s website and that will still be an option, but CCP hopes that this new way of distribution will make EVE catch the attention of more gamers.

EVE Online players currently count around 300,000 people. EVE recently broke a record when 45,000 people played the game at the same time.
