No Fischer in Iceland

The Japanese government yesterday ruled out any possibility of former chess champion Bobby Fischer being allowed to go to Iceland.

The spokesman of the Japanese Ministry of Justice made this announcement at Parliament yesterday. He said that if Fischer left Japan he would be sent to the US. He would not be exempt from Japanese law.
