Nineteen New Icelanders

Nineteen people out of 56 applicants were recently granted Icelandic citizenship by Alþingi, the Icelandic parliament.

Seven of the successful applicants were born in Iraq, three in Armenia, two in Brazil, and one each in the U.S., Vietnam, Poland, Slovakia, Sri Lanka and Iceland, mbl.is reports.
