Nine Thousand Icelandic Artworks Online

The Reykjavík Art Museum is celebrating a landmark in Icelandic art history by launching a new website today with nearly 9,000 artworks accessible to the public free of charge.

The site provides pictures and information on works by Icelandic artists from the early 20th century until 2013.

In addition, a map of Reykjavík provides information on works of art in public spaces in the city.
