Nikita and GusGus Hold Joint Opening Party

Icelandic fashion label Nikita will celebrate the opening of its first flagship store on September 26 with a party, joined by music mavericks GusGus who are honoring the release of their new album 24/7, which hit the stores last week.

24/7, which is GusGus’s seventh studio album, was recorded in the remote Tankurinn studio in Flateyri in the West Fjords. The album marks the comeback of Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson, who hasn’t been a formal member of the band since 1999’s This Is Normal.

GusGus will be playing a live set in Nikita’s back yard. It’s an open invite and everyone is welcome. The party begins at 9 pm at Nikita’s store at Laugavegur 56, 101 Reykjavík.
