Sports clothing corporation Nike’s new range of tights and boyshorts have an Icelandic touch to them; designer Ryan Noon said the idea for the design was inspired by the traditional pattern for Icelandic lopapeysa woolen sweater.

According to Noon, the ‘Nike Pro Reykjavik Rave Printed Women’s Tights and Boyshorts’ line is “an expression of lava, ice, wind and rain in Reykjavík 101, the city center local. The colors are reminiscent of the wild natural elements of lava, ice and geysers,” as stated on the company’s website.
