New What’s On Celebrates the Icelandic Winter

The first issue of What’s On in Reykjavík in 2008 has arrived. This year, the guide celebrates its 25th anniversary. What to do in Iceland during winter is featured both on the cover and inside the magazine, which is now available for free download.

What’s On provides a detailed coverage of the seventh annual Food and Fun Festival, held between February 20 and 24, featuring guest chefs from around the world cooking special dishes at local restaurants, using only Icelandic ingredients.

The Food and Fun cooking competition, the highlight of the festival, takes place in the Reykjavík Art Museum and more than 20,000 attendees are expected.

This latest issue of What’s On also includes articles about Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús and two well-known restaurants in Reykjavík.
