The exhibition “Secondo” opens in the café Mokka on Skólavördustígur 3a in Reykjavík next week, featuring black-and-white photographs from Italy by Icelandic photographer Karl R. Lilliendahl.
“Secondo” is Lilliendahl’s seventh solo exhibition. The title is a reference to “the fraction of the second it takes to freeze the moment,” as the artist states in a press release.
The exhibition opens on August 20 and runs until September 23. The photographs on display were taken in Lucca, Bologna and Venice.
Mokka is Iceland’s oldest café. Click here to read a feature about it.
