Iceland’s negotiation committee in the Icesave talks between the Icelandic, British and Dutch governments on the payback scheme for Landsbanki’s Icesave deposits is on its way back to Iceland with a new agreement, according to the sources of visir.is.
An agreement was made between the committee, chaired by Lee Buchheit, and representatives of the British and Dutch governments late last night and its terms will be presented to the chairman of all parties at the Icelandic parliament later today.
