At tomorrow’s presentations, visitors can learn about the basic studies at the University of Iceland and also enjoy various performances around the university campus.

The patient puppet Hermann will be transported to the campus in an ambulance with blinking lights and wailing sirens at noon. People will get to meet Hermann after nursing students have brought him back to life after a cardiac arrest.

The so-called “explosion team” from the ranks of chemistry students will stage explosive shows at the University Cinema at 12 and 2 pm.

Students from the engineering and natural sciences department will compete in sausage grilling and plan to grill 1,000 sausages for visitors at the University Square.

The University of Iceland presentation is part of the University Day when all universities in Iceland present their courses in the coming term.
