The Icelandic adventure film Astrópía premiered in Sambíó movie theater in Reykjavík this week. The film features party girl Hildur who is caught up in a fictional world and becomes a superhero.
After starting work in a shop specializing in comic books and role plays, Hildur becomes fascinated with the fairytale world of role plays and the borders between reality and make-believe begin to disappear, mbl.is.
Astrópía is directed by Gunnar B. Gudmundsson and the main characters are played by TV presenter Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir, stand-up comedian Davíd Thór Jónsson and X-Factor presenter Halla Vilhjálmsdóttir.
