New Exhibition in Mosfellsbaer

By Iceland Review

The exhibition “Margt í mörgu” (“Many in many”) by visual artist Hildigunnur Birgisdóttir opens in the Mosfellsbaer Art Gallery today. The opening will be celebrated between 2 pm and 4 pm.

The exhibition includes sketches and sculptures, which are the results of the artist’s thoughts on systems, rules, chaos and the end of the material world.

Birgisdóttir graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2003 and has since worked on art-related projects in east Iceland and in Reykjavík.

The Mosfellsbaer Art Gallery is situated in the local library on Thverholt 2. It is open from 12 to 7 pm on weekdays and 12 to 3 pm on Saturdays.

All are welcome and admission is free.
