New Deputy Editor for Iceland Review

asta02_dlÁsta Andrésdóttir has been hired as deputy editor of the print edition of Iceland Review and Atlantica magazine to replace Bjarni Brynjólfsson who recently moved on to new adventures as director of communications for the City of Reykjavík.

Meanwhile, Iceland Review’s photographer and hitherto deputy editor Páll Stefánsson will temporarily step in as editor of the two magazines.

Ásta holds a BA degree in English from the University of Iceland and is about to receive an MA degree from the same school. In addition, she holds a three-year diploma in Fashion Business from Istituto Marangoni, Milan, Italy.

Since 2009, she has been a contributing writer at Iceland Review and Atlantica, as well as a column writer for Iceland Review Online.

Her resume also includes editorship of Nýtt Líf women’s magazine, as well as writing and translating informational material for Iceland Design Center.
