The concert series ‘Sérfræðingar að Sunnan!’ (‘Specialists from the South!’; SAS) will be launched in culture center Hof in Akureyri, North Iceland, on Thursday, September 26, with a concert by kimono at 8:30 pm, followed by a performance by local band Buxnaskjónar.

Concerts as part of the SAS series will take place monthly until the end of this year.
The idea is to bring together musicians from North and South Iceland and create a platform for further collaboration between Icelandic musicians, as explained in a press release from the organizers.
Tickets cost ISK 2,000 (USD 17, EUR 12; students get 25 percent off) and are available on Hof’s website. Doors open at 8 pm.
