People from the ranks of pensioners and the physically disabled in Iceland have decided to establish a new political party and to run for the general elections in May this year.
According to Fréttabladid, the main goal of the new party is to improve the situation of senior and handicapped citizens in Iceland and to improve society as a whole. Other goals will be announced in the next few days.
Thereafter the political party will be founded officially at a meeting open to everyone who is interested. The party seeks cooperation with men and women from all parts of the country.
