By Iceland Review

According to surveys conducted last year, approximately 20,000 people in Iceland, or 10.7 percent of the population ages 18 to 64, are engaged in some sort of entrepreneurial work, the Morgunbladid online edition reports today. The extent of innovation in Iceland is greater than in most other countries in the world. These findings are part of a new international comparative study conducted by the collaborative research effort Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, which extends to some 40 different countries.
