Over 100 guests and lecturers have gathered at Skaftafell National Park, southeast Iceland, for a conference devoted to conservation.
The three-day conference was arranged by the Nordic countries, and the Icelandic Ministry of the environment. The conference will focus on safeguarding the natural heritage of the Nordic countries.
Among the scheduled speakers is former Icelandic president Vigdis Finnbogadottir.
