The Reykjavík Metropolitan Police was notified shortly before 2 am last night that a naked man had been seen in the doorway of an apartment complex in Lindargata, trying to get in.

The police officers who were sent to the scene reported that the man had been heavily intoxicated, ruv.is reports.
The man’s shirt, socks and shoes were found nearby but none of his other clothing. He didn’t live close to Lindargata and accepted the police’s offer of sleeping it off in prison.
