Mysterious Archeological Discovery in West Iceland

The inhabitants of Grundarfjördur, a fishing town in west Iceland, are puzzled by the wreckage of an old truck accidentally discovered by labor workers when they were digging a channel for a new water pipe by the local swimming pool.

It appears as if the earth swallowed the truck which car enthusiasts say is a 1961 Chevrolet, visir.is reports.

However, no one has reported the truck missing and no one remembers it being buried there, so the discovery has sparked all sorts of theories.

For example, some people say that it must have been the truck of Gísli at Kirkjufell, who used to be a truck driver in Grundarfjördur. Others say that’s impossible since his truck was blue and this one is green, as stated on skessuhorn.is.
