Múm “and friends” will open with a special event on September 12, which is described as “a symphonic explosion of newly arranged compositions” in a news item on icelandicmusic.is.
The band will be accompanied by the Sinfonietta Cracovia, the Polish Radio Choir and fellow Icelandic artists, including amiina, Mugison, Benni Hemm Hemm and Högni Egilsson of Hjaltalín.
Jónsi will bring his ‘Go’ tour set to the festival and is scheduled to play on the two last days: September 17 and 18.
