The British rock band Muse has announced it will be coming to Iceland this summer to give a concert in Reykjavík on August 6, mbl.is reports.
This will be the second time the band visits the country: they came here in December of 2003, following the release of their third album, Absolution, and gave a concert in Reykjavík.
The organizers of the concert released a statement saying, “Much has happened since then, and 12 years and six albums later, Muse has become one of the music world’s biggest names. Ever since 2004, they’ve been interested in returning to Iceland, but because of their immense popularity worldwide, it hasn’t been possible until now.”
The concert will be in the new Laugardalshöll August 6, but tickets will go on sale March 8. The specifics of the ticket sale will be announced tomorrow.
