Icelandic indie band Múm (pictured) was announced this week as the opening act of the Sugarcubes anniversary concert on 17 November.
Múm has not played live since December last year, when the band held a concert in Taipei, Taiwan.
Since then the band members have been DJs at several festivals, including Japan’s Summersonic Festival, the Isle of Wight Festival in the UK and Iceland’s Airwaves.
Múm is currently recording a new album in Finland due out early next year. The sound of the album is reportedly different from the band’s previous work, rockier and more powerful.
